Wild Caught vs. Farm Raised

Is there really a difference?  YES! YES! YES!  Allow me to share an excerpt from The Men's Health Big Book of Food and Nutrition.
Most fish farms use pellets made of corn and soy as feed, which negatively impacts the nutritional composition of the meat, lowering its omega-3 content.  Farmed salmon can also contain up to 10 times more "persistent organic pollutants" -- dioxins, PCBs, etc. -- than wild salmon, according to research by environmental scientist Ronald Hites, PhD, of Indiana University. So while you are loading up on salmon to reap its health benefits, you may also be ingesting a known toxin. The prevalence of these chemical in farm raised salmon is so troubling that Hites, who analyzed more than two tons of salmon meat, advises that farmed varieties "should be consumed at ONE meal or LESS per month."

Go for the wild caught variety!  Your health may depend on it!!
